Privacy Policy for Tatscale

Tatscale (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Tatscale (“the developer”). This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices. We keep this deliberately short and plain.

Summary

• We collect your email address only if you choose to provide it.
• We use Sign in with Apple for optional account login.
• We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
• Your stencils, designs, and print settings stay on your device.

What we collect

Account information (optional). If you sign in, we may store:

• Your email address — either one you type in, or the email/identifier provided by Sign in with Apple. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose “Hide My Email,” we only receive Apple’s private relay address.
• A unique account identifier used to recognise you across sessions and devices.

You can use the app as a guest without providing any of this.

Purchase information. If you subscribe, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not see or store your payment details. We only receive confirmation from Apple of whether your subscription is active.

Your designs stay local. Imported images, stencils, guides, grids, and print/export settings are stored on your device only. We do not upload, view, or store your artwork.

How we use your information

• To provide account login and remember your preferences.
• To send you product updates, tips, and offers if you opted in by providing your email. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To manage your subscription status (active / inactive).

Who we share it with

We use the following service providers to operate the app:

• Apple — for Sign in with Apple and subscription billing.
• Supabase — to securely store account information (such as your email).

These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).

Your choices

• Use as a guest — provide no personal data at all.
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time.
• Request deletion of your account and data by emailing us.

Children

Tatscale is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
